How Did we Get Here?

We thought we had it all planned. At nearly 30-something we were poised to tackle the world. But life had other things in mind. Incoming: a set of preemie triplets on the heels of a toddler sister. I didn't need to be a whiz at math to figure out that four kids under the age of two just didn't add up to global roaming. No time for second-guessing. We jumped in and got busy. A career leap into a maximum security prison promised a steady ride into early retirement if I did my time. And suddenly, there I was, fresh out of the gate ready for what? A yearning for the unknown pushed us out of our comfort zone and we took the challenge.

After 33 years of parenting, pet care and property upkeep, we decided to ditch familiarity. Sold our house, stored our belongings and took our radials to the road in a whole new direction. This mobile lifestyle allows us to embrace adventure, experience change and provide an invaluable service to others.
Sounds like a win/win/win, doesn't it?

But back to that original question: How did we get here? The answer: Three of us (our little dog too) in a red sedan across 33,000 miles over 33 states in 3 years. Omne trium perfectum, or 'what's perfect comes in three's'. When it comes to our life, there's no arguing that logic. We're right where we should be - in a constant state of flux- ready to embark on adventure #3 with no plans of stopping anytime soon.
